WHAT IS ACH?
Action for Community Health (ACH) is a national non-governmental organisation whose primary mandate is to improve community health outcomes and overall wellbeing, particularly among vulnerable and marginalised populations. ACH works to strengthen physical, mental and social health through inclusive, community driven and evidence informed approaches.
Recognising that health outcomes in South Sudan are shaped by multiple interlinked factors, ACH adopts an integrated programming model that places health at the centre while addressing key determinants of health. These include water, sanitation and hygiene, nutrition and food security and livelihoods, mental health and psychosocial support, inclusive education and skills development, peacebuilding and resilience, and environmental conservation and climate resilience.
